Flying Stars Feng Shui helps feng shui consultants prepare a flying star study of a home: the floor plan, the people who live there, and advice room by room. This page explains what the app keeps, where it is kept, and how to delete it.
The app works with an account, so your projects are yours wherever you sign in — on an iPhone, an iPad, a Mac, an Android device, a Windows PC or a web browser. You can sign in with your email address, using a one-time code we send you, or with Sign in with Apple. With Sign in with Apple you can choose to hide your email address; we then only receive a private relay address from Apple.
For the account we keep your email address (or the relay address) and a random account number. We do not ask for your name, phone number or payment details.
So that a project can be opened on any of your devices, everything you put into it is saved to your account:
A copy is also kept on each device you use, so the app opens quickly and works while you are offline. The report pages you save go wherever you choose to save or share them.
Your account and projects are stored with Supabase, our hosting provider. Data travels encrypted between the app and the servers, and is encrypted where it is stored. Each project can only be read by the account that created it. We do not look at the contents of your projects, and we never sell or share them.
If you are a consultant, the residents you add are usually your clients and their family. You are responsible for having their permission to record their details and for how you share the reports you create. Deleting a project removes their details from your account.
Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat. In the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android apps, payment is taken by Apple or Google. In the Windows app and on the web, payment is taken by card through Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, which receives your card details, your email address and your billing country to take the payment, prevent fraud and meet tax rules, under Paddle's privacy policy. Either way, we never see your card details. RevenueCat receives your random account number and the purchase record, so that a subscription bought on one device is recognised on your other devices. Neither receives anything from your projects.

There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking in this app, and nothing is used to follow you across other apps or websites.
We keep your data only for as long as your account exists.
The app is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is kept or who receives it, the effective date above will change and the updated policy will be published here before the change reaches the app.
